Greetings!
It is with great pride and excitement that I greet you as the Proud Principal of Pointe South Elementary School, where “We Expect Success!” I am excited and honored to have the opportunity to lead Pointe South Elementary School to becoming the premier elementary school of choice in Clayton County Public Schools.

The Pointe South Elementary staff and I are excited about the possibilities that the 2023-2024 school year offers. We are committed to providing the very best elementary education to our students, Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth grade. I believe that every student can learn and be successful if provided the right supports and opportunities. Our teachers and staff are committed to providing all students with an appropriate and challenging educational experience in a respectful environment that fosters learning and growth.

Embracing the collaborative theme, “Together Everyone Achieves More,” this year I will focus on shared and distributive leadership. I will meet with staff and students to gain insight into how best to ensure success for Pointe South Elementary School.

Throughout the year, exciting things will be happening in our classrooms and on our campus. I encourage parents to get involved by joining our Parent Groups, volunteering at school activities, and taking an active role in your child’s education. You are the best gift you can give your child. You are your child’s most important teacher. Spend time with your child. The elementary years go quickly, but they are among the most important and fundamental years of your child’s life. It is my desire to keep the focus on increasing student achievement and doing whatever it takes to help ALL our students be successful and enjoy coming to school each day. I believe that learning should be fun and that an elementary school should pave the way for a lifetime of learning.
